I have had pets (both dogs and cats) all my life, and have been doing pet care via Rover since 2022. I love animals for all the same reasons you love your pet. I can't claim any unique or specialized skills, but would love to spend some quality time with your pet and will treat them with care.

Each pet and home is unique, I value your input and instructions in caring for your pet, in their hourly needs, feeding instructions, and their physical safety in your home. I am comfortable administering oral medication but will not book services for animals requiring injections, sorry, needles make me woozy.

We are glad we worked with Alaina Grace as our house sitter! Our cats seemed comfortable with her, and she left our place spotless. She is reliable and straightforward to communicate with. I definitely recommend her!
Alaina did a great job watching my very energetic lab over the weekend and making sure he was well entertained. She was very communicative and provided me with pictures of their adventures. If you ever need a responsible dog sitter I would highly recommend!
Alaina was wonderful! She was very communicative and sent us lots of photos. She also took our pup for some hikes and gave her lots of exercise and play. She took good care of our home and our little one. We were very happy with her service!

Alaina was amazing with Pancho. He can be super anxious, especially with new people, but he warmed up to her almost immediately. We were traveling and signal was very spotty, but knowing he was in good hands was such a relief. We will definitely be booking Alaina again - so so thankful we found her!
Very communicative, I really appreciated all the photos and updates. She was great with my pets and they really liked her, my cat immediately got into her lap after one day. She is a sitter who goes above and beyond!

Schedule
I have a full time day job Monday through Friday, but am open to pet sitting on weekends and can do walks or dropins throughout the weekend and before 7:30am or after 6pm on weekdays

- Please let me know in advance of booking of any special needs/ medications/ supplements your dog has (I can not administer injected medications - needles make me faint) and expectation on length of time they can be left alone. Some other things I like to ask prior to the sitting service are: - Emergency contact and Vet info - What are the pet's bathroom habits? (e.g. are they regular, where do they go) - Does your pet have separation anxiety? - Are they current for preventative treatment for fleas/ ticks? - Are there any training or obedience requirements? - Feeding schedule and portion size. - Are they permitted treats or human food? - Any other special dietary needs? - How often is your dog walked? - How is your pet with other animals, people, cars, bikes, children? - Do you have any favorite local walks? - Are there any grooming or bathing requirements? - Are they allowed on furniture? -Where do your pets sleep?
