What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs of all sizes. I’ve owned a Yorkie for most of my life and have regularly cared for larger dogs for family, friends, and neighbors. I’m attentive, patient, and very observant, so I pick up on changes in behavior, energy, or comfort quickly. I focus on keeping pets calm, safe, and on their usual routine. I follow care instructions closely and take the time to understand each pet’s individual needs.

I prioritize safety and routine whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, but I primarily keep dogs indoors to ensure comfort and safety, especially during colder weather. I’m careful about leashes, gates, and doors, follow all care instructions closely, keep pets on their normal schedule, and maintain a calm, clean environment so they feel comfortable and secure.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work part-time. I’m typically available before 7:30am and after 3pm on weekdays and have flexibility on the weekends. I’m dependable about scheduling, communication, and sticking to each pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for.

- I like to know a pet’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medical or behavioral concerns ahead of time. I also ask about temperament, triggers, leash manners, and what helps them feel calm and comfortable. For cats, I like to know litter preferences, boundaries, and hiding spots. The more I know upfront, the better I can keep pets safe and stress-free.
