I am currently a full time Ph.D. Student at OSU and hold a very flexible assistantship. With a younger dog of my own, I strive to be available for his need and I will do the same for your pet. We love going on walks and to the dog park and try to take advantage of the beautiful days in Columbus.

I am very attentive to a pet’s needs. If you have any special concerns, I’m all ears and want to ensure that you have nothing to worry about. My goal is to make sure your pet only misses you because you’re away not because their needs aren’t met.

If you entrust me with your pet, I will be sure to communicate with you about their needs. I love all pets, but would love to know more about your pet’s temperament and preferences. We have two pups who are very different and I want to ensure your pet will be comfortable with at least one!
A typical day
We have a lot of toys in our house and a great patio for your pup to lounge. We love walking, so your pup will enjoy a good couple of miles a day. Our younger pup loves to play so he’ll be sure to show your dog around and wear them out for bed time!

Pet care experience
As an only child, I was desperate for a pet. My parents ensured that I was fully responsible for my first pup. I now have two dogs who are the world to me and my best friends are vets. I learned from the best and would love to learn from your pup!

Akua took great care of my girl and really gave my peace of mind while I enjoyed a day out! She took all my dogs post chemo directions and really stuck to them! She was very communicative! Highly recommend!
Akua is amazing as always. My dogs love her and she is super flexible and responsive if there are any last minute changes. Definitely will be rebooking.
Took absolute amazing care of our babies while we were out of town
Very informative and responsive with each visit. Gave great updates after each visit with good pictures of the doggos! Our 3 Dogs loved her checking in on them!
