Dog‑loving family missing our lab
We’re the family who stops people on the street just to pet their dogs. After losing our 15‑year‑old lab, we miss the sound of paws in the house. We’ve always cared for friends’ dogs, and we’d love to give your pup the same gentle, loving attention!

We can’t say enough positive things about Akiko, George and Emi. It was like a second home for our boy. Their communication was faultless throughout, and as previous loving dog-owners of their own, they were always one step ahead with what our dog needed. Bruce has found a second home!

Schedule
I work part‑time from home, except for Wednesdays when I’m in the office — and when I’m out, my husband is always home. We’re used to morning walks to Prospect Park (just one block away!) and spent years doing long daily walks with our black lab. We make sure every dog gets the routine, comfort, and attention they’re used to at home, whether that means crating, treat limits, extra exercise, or lots of cozy affection.

We don’t have a yard, but we live on the first floor of an apartment building just one block from Prospect Park — our favorite place for walks and playtime. We always follow each family’s preferences for their furry family member, whether that’s crating, treat limits, exercise routines, or the kind of attention they’re used to at home. Your pup’s comfort and safety always come first.
A typical day
A typical day really depends on your pup’s personality and routine. I will follow each dog’s needs — whether that’s a long, happy walk in Prospect Park or a quick stroll around the block. We have toys for indoor fetch, cozy spots for relaxing, and plenty of love, attention, and pee breaks throughout the day. Your dog sets the pace, and we will make sure your pup is happy and comfortable!

- We do have an almost 10 year old daughter who absolutely adores dogs, and she's grown up with a black lab all her life (until he passed away recently), so it would be good to know if your pup likes being around kids.
