Your dog's second favorite person
Originally from Houston, Texas, I've now had the privilege of living in 4 states. I am new to Louisville, but very excited to explore this new city. Bonus points if it's on a walk with your dog. I have been the go to person for family, friends, even bosses to care for their fur baby. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes from my mom's Puggle (pug+beagle) to a Great Pyrenees. I like to learn and inform myself about pet training so I can gather more knowledge about animal tendencies. I love animals, and hope to own my dog soon after getting a house with a nice backyard! I am still on the job hunt after my boyfriend and I have relocated to Louisville, so I am available for walks any time! I would prefer a 24 notice, but if you need a last minute walker, I'm your gal. I live in an small apartment which is not a suitable space for a dog, but I am more than happy to travel to their homes for walks, feeding, and play time.

I am very mindful and aware while walking pets. They're able to smell and snifff as much as they'd like but I always make sure to watch the asurrounding area to ensure there is nothing they can eat or swallow.

Akhila does a great job of taking care of my cats when I am out of town! Akhila is responsible, a good communicator, and caring when it comes to pet care. She keeps me updated via call/text and even routinely sends me photos and videos. It makes me feel at ease to have someone like Akhila taking care of my pets!
Akhila always does an outstanding job taking care of my pup. She is reliable and sends adorable pictures! Knowing that I can rely on Akhila makes my life a lot easier. I check with her first now every time I travel because she's so great!
I’m really picky about who I let around my foster dogs but I’m so grateful that Akhila loves on my dogs like they’re her own! She’s given me such peace of mind that I’ve hired the right person for the job.
