I am very mindful and aware while walking pets. They're able to smell and snifff as much as they'd like but I always make sure to watch the asurrounding area to ensure there is nothing they can eat or swallow.

Please let me know if there is any behavioural concerns with your pup. I am not afraid of working with dogs that can be anxious or skittish, I have plenty of time to be able to gain their trust for walks and play time :)
A typical day
We'll be able to check out all the neighborhood hot spots. If they need some particular attention I would love to be able to take them to parks or greenways.

Originally from Houston, Texas, I've now had the privilege of living in 4 states. I am new to Louisville, but very excited to explore this new city. Bonus points if it's on a walk with your dog. I have been the go to person for family, friends, even bosses to care for their fur baby. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes from my mom's Puggle (pug+beagle) to a Great Pyrenees. I like to learn and inform myself about pet training so I can gather more knowledge about animal tendencies. I love animals, and hope to own my dog soon after getting a house with a nice backyard! I am still on the job hunt after my boyfriend and I have relocated to Louisville, so I am available for walks any time! I would prefer a 24 notice, but if you need a last minute walker, I'm your gal. I live in an small apartment which is not a suitable space for a dog, but I am more than happy to travel to their homes for walks, feeding, and play time.

Akhila does a great job of taking care of my cats when I am out of town! Akhila is responsible, a good communicator, and caring when it comes to pet care. She keeps me updated via call/text and even routinely sends me photos and videos. It makes me feel at ease to have someone like Akhila taking care of my pets!
