I would recommend Akasia to anyone looking for a reliable and kind person to care for their pets and home. I absolutely trust her with my cat whether it’s during weekly visits or when we are away. My cat, Stella is not the easiest to befriend and Akasia was able to do so very early on. She understands how important it is to be gentle and to let her come to her on Stella’s terms. Now Stella is her vocal self and welcomes Akasia’s care giving me peace of mind knowing she is in good hands! I have known Akasia for decades. Not only does she give her best to all that she does, she is compassionate, clean and responsible from animal care to mail collection to anything you might need assistance with. I want to share what an amazing pet and home sitter Akasia has been for me and my Frenchie Hugo. I have known Akasia professionally and personally for over a decade, she has always gone above and beyond in any situation she’s presented with. Akasia recently stayed at my apartment in Santa Monica, with Hugo for a week while I was away. Hugo has always stayed with people we know and has never been in a kennel, Akasia staying in my home with him was the best possible option. While I was away I received daily updates and pictures of Hugo and Akasia was very communicative when I was checking in on him, how he was eating etc... You could say I'm a bit of an overprotective dog mom. When I returned to town my home was neat and tidy as when I left, and Hugo was happy and healthy and sad to see Akasia leave. I have recommended Akasia to all of my friends with pets, both cats + dogs as a sitter for them and she will continue to stay with Hugo when I have to travel without him. Akasia is the Best! Akasia was an excellent sitter for our cats, house and chickens. We have a very difficult male cat, who is impossible to keep inside. He got injured while we were traveling, requiring minor surgery and she went above and beyond to make sure he was cared for and safe while he was healing. She also used our car and returned it cleaner than how we left it. Akasia will treat your home and animals as if they are her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet or home sitter!
