Pet care seemed like a great way to spend my time outside of work. On weekdays I work 8-5, so I am able to pop in in the evenings or stay overnight. I am unable to do midday visits due to my work schedule. My weekends are generally flexible for overnight care and drop-ins. I live in Highwood, so the surrounding suburb areas such as Lake Forest and Highland Park are an easy 10-15 minute drive.

A typical day
I'll make sure your pet is well-exercised to get some energy out, then we can hang out while they nap or rest. On walks, I make sure we try to stay in the shade, and go places with different types of mental stimulation, different sights and smells. We'll play with toys in fun and exciting patterns to keep your dog or cat engaged.

This was the first time I was leaving my cat for an extended period of time and AK kept him well cared for. She also sent me lots of pictures so that I didn’t miss him too much which was very much appreciated. I’d definitely book her again!
Even though there was a transportation mishap, she took great care of the animals. Was very personable, took full responsibility, handled herself professionally and compassionately.
AK was phenomenal watching my cat who was very unhappy to be without her parents for a few days! She was also great giving my cat her medication every day too!
