I am attentive when watching animals and make sure to give them adequate play-time. For cats, I'll sit and read a book and they'll usually cautiously come over, then we'll hang out. For home care, I am thorough about checking locks/alarm systems, and growing up in a large family, am on-top of chores and small tasks to make the space clean and welcoming.

AK is great with our cat Pebbles. She makes sure Pebbles gets lots of attention and care.
This was the first time I was leaving my cat for an extended period of time and AK kept him well cared for. She also sent me lots of pictures so that I didn’t miss him too much which was very much appreciated. I’d definitely book her again!
Even though there was a transportation mishap, she took great care of the animals. Was very personable, took full responsibility, handled herself professionally and compassionately.
AK was phenomenal watching my cat who was very unhappy to be without her parents for a few days! She was also great giving my cat her medication every day too!
AK went above and beyond to help us out last minute. She is dependable and courteous.
We were lucky to have AK again. She did a great job and we highly recommend her.

Schedule
Pet care seemed like a great way to spend my time outside of work. On weekdays I work 8-5, so I am able to pop in in the evenings or stay overnight. I am unable to do midday visits due to my work schedule. My weekends are generally flexible for overnight care and drop-ins. I live in Highwood, so the surrounding suburb areas such as Lake Forest and Highland Park are an easy 10-15 minute drive.
