Animals have been one of my biggest passions for as long as I can remember. Growing up with cats and dogs as beloved members of my family taught me early on how much trust and responsibility comes with caring for an animal. Over the past few years, I’ve also gained experience with cat sitting, dog sitting, house sitting, and volunteering at horse ranches and stables, where I’ve cared for and spent time around horses, goats, and other animals. My goal is to eventually have a career working with animals and, one day, own a homestead of my own. I genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their person is away. Trust and integrity are extremely important to me. I understand that leaving your pets and home in someone else’s care is a huge responsibility, and I take that responsibility seriously. I will always respect your instructions, your home, and your pet’s individual needs. My priority is making sure you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. I’m happy to accommodate different routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication instructions, crate routines, indoor/outdoor schedules, training expectations, disabilities, and other individual needs. I will follow your instructions carefully rather than assuming every animal should be cared for the same way. I’m also comfortable providing pets with calm companionship. Whether your pet wants lots of playtime and attention, a long walk, or simply someone nearby while they relax, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I want every animal I care for to feel safe, respected, and loved. I currently have a flexible schedule while attending school, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. I also have a professional background as a Medical Assistant and am about to begin studying to become an EMT, so I’m accustomed to being responsible, attentive, following instructions carefully, and staying calm when something unexpected happens.
