I'm the One Petting Dogs at Parties
As cheesy and generic as it sounds, I've always had a soft-spot for animals. Having had an Australian Cattle dog, Siberian cat, and leopard gecko growing up, I'm used to a variety of different animal personalities. Highly-energetic dog that seems to never get tired of fetch? Been there. An intelligent cat that somehow loves to play hide-and-seek? Yup. A gecko that loves to curl up in my hair and lay there? Done that. And I can promise you that no matter the preferences or routines your pets have, I will understand and fully accommodate them so they feel at safe and at home even if you're away :)

Safety, trust & environment
I do not currently offer to care for pets in my home. However, in a client's home, I would carefully enter the home, ensuring to take off shoes and respect the space. Every pet is unique, and I'd first ensure they are fully comfortable with me in their environment (letting them sniff me, get to know me, giving some distance). Then, I'd let them outside or check on the bathroom situation (depends on the pet), play with them, give them some food, and give lots of pets and love.

Schedule
I currently have a job that is focused towards the morning and early afternoon. This allows me to fully present for pets in later afternoon/evening part of the day. Depending on the day, and location, I may even be able to fit pet care into the very early morning :)

- I would love to know their favorite things! What toys do they enjoy playing with, any places they like to visit, games they like to play, etc. Is there anything in their routine you'd like me to know about before I visit (their eating habits, favorite treats, specific order of events, etc.)? Do they like cuddles/pets, or is that something to avoid? And any specific behaviors, towards people, pets, or otherwise, that are important for me to give the best care possible. :)
