Flexible Sitter for Furry Friends
Hi, I’m Aisha! I’ve been a Rover sitter for two years, but I have been raising dogs (and now a cat!) for the last 15 years. Over the years, I’ve raised two puppies (a Golden Retriever mix and a Boxer/Shepherd mix), two cats, and a red-eared slider! I currently offer weekend sits, holiday coverage, and drop-in visits. I specialize in house sitting because I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own space. Like slow travel, I prefer a “slow visit” by helping your pets stay relaxed and on routine. During my stays, I pay close attention to diet, bathroom habits, enrichment, and affection (as much or as little as your pet wants!). A little about me: I am a counseling intern, love spending time outdoors, and have a sweet cat named George. Pet care is a natural extension of how I move through the world: with care, patience, and presence.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
She was absolutely fantastic! We trusted her with our two kitties and she was so great at making sure they felt loved and cared for!

I am genuinely very happy with pet drop ins provided by Aisha. Communicative, responsible, professional, all the things. I appreciated the photos and reports/texts to ask any pertinent questions about our pets while we were out of town. Thank you so much Aisha.

She is the absolute best! Aisha went above and beyond, is extremely reliable, and cared for our pets as if they were her own. We definitely recommend her!

Aisha provided consistent thoughtful updates, followed all instructions and left my home just as I left it. Pleasure to work with.

Aisha always does a phenomenal job and my pets love her. Highly recommend!

Great communication, very friendly. My cat who isn’t a fan of other people let Aisha pet her. High praise.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I’m currently a graduate student, so my availability is limited to weekends and holidays. I keep my calendar updated at least two months in advance. If you’re looking for care further out or for a specific date, feel free to reach out. I’ll do my best to accommodate your request!
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
Pets are family, and while you’re away, I want to make sure your family is cared for with love and consistency. I always send a Rover card with 1–3 photos or a short video so you can stay connected and feel at ease. I do my best to reduce separation anxiety by tuning into each pet’s individual needs. I’ve learned that familiar phrases from their person can be soothing, and I’m happy to incorporate them. I also spend time outside with dogs (and outdoor cats), which often helps them relax and reset.
Pets
A typical day
For house sits, I stay overnight. In the morning, I follow your pet’s usual routine, which usually includes feeding, bathroom break, and any requested walks (if they’re leash trained). I also like to spend some time outside with them to help start the day on a calm, grounded note. During the day, I return to the home for a midday potty break and a bit of outdoor time (usually 1–2 hours, depending on the schedule and your pet’s needs). I then come back in the evening to continue care and settle in for the night. I enjoy taking leash trained dogs on walks when time allows. For drop-in visits, I focus on a bathroom break, light play, and making sure the space is clean and calm before I go.
