I am new to Florida after having spent my whole life in St. Louis (hello, sunshine!) I owned a business in St. Louis, but here in Florida I’m looking forward to the rewarding and flexible lifestyle of an in-home pet sitter and dog walker. I am excited to provide you and your pet with a flexible and available schedule.

I am committed to listening to my clients regarding their pets routines and individual needs to ensure that your BFF is as happy as can be while you are away. In-home sitting is based on the individual needs of each family, but can include: daily walks, enrichment, positive attention, feeding, and medication. You will receive photo updates and will come home to a clean house… need I say more? Serving St. Pete and the coast between St. Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach.

Pet care experience
Companionship, purpose, and love. My journey began with a best-friend. From there I found myself fostering, volunteering, training, and rescuing for two decades… My Personal Pets Willow, Niko, Karma, Rusty, Aiko, Arlo, & Kolus. These dogs shaped my adult life and brought me endless love, laughter, and (let’s be real here) challenge. Shelter Volunteer I’ve volunteered as a dog walker & enrichment buddy for Stray Rescue of St. Louis & Canines in Crisis. This included daily walks & off-site hikes. Foster Parent I’ve fostered over 40 dogs (big, small, adult, senior, puppy, behavioral issues). My job was to prepare them for permanent homes through training & routine. Networking I spent a decade helping to reduce the euthanasia rates in rural Missouri by working directly with officers. Our efforts helped to save over 6,000 lives. With St. Pete Paws, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is in experienced and loving hands. We are excited to provide you and your dog with the attention, care, and expertise you deserve.

Niko and Willow were so happy with Aimee during her first visit we had her back! Aimee took excellent care of the two dogs and the house they allow me to live in. Aimee has proven herself to be 100% reliable in regards to caring for the dogs and we will absolutely have her back. She’s quickly becoming our most reliable and trusted sitter.
Willow and Niko loved their time with Aimee! Aimee spent time messaging me prior to the appointment to make sure she was prepared to take great care of the dogs. She asked questions about their schedules, feeding and what they enjoyed. She sent photos during her stay which was very much appreciated! The house was in perfect condition at the end of her time caring for the dogs and both pups were sad to see her go. Aimee will absolutely be watching my dogs again and I will recommend her to friends and family. If you want someone to care for your dogs like they are her own give Aimee a try.
I would highly recommend Aimee to anyone. She has an incredible depth of experience and passion for dogs, and it truly shows in the way she cares for them. Aimee understands dogs of all personalities, energy levels, and needs. I adopted two dogs that she was fostering, who are now 13 and 14, and they still get unbelievably excited whenever they see her, which is proof of the trust and bond she builds with every dog she meets. Any dog in her care is not only safe, but happy, understood, and truly loved.
