Hello, I'm Aimee, a 28-year-old animal lover from Sydney, Australia. I spent the last year living and traveling around Europe, pet-sitting my entire way through! I looked after over 40 animals and was introduced to so many wonderful people and places through this. I fell in love with this way of life and hope to continue it now that I live in the beautiful town of Nelson, BC. With my experience and genuine adoration for animals, you can rest assured that your beloved companions will be in capable and loving hands. Not only will I attend to your pets' basic needs, but I'll also provide ample playtime, exercise, and cuddles. I will also keep you updated with photos so you can relax knowing that your pets are safe and happy. If you have plants or gardens that need tending to, I'm more than willing to lend a green thumb!

Safety, trust & environment
While I’m unable to host pets in my own home due to rental restrictions, I’m more than happy to come to you! I love being able to care for pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable and stick to their usual routine while you’re away. I find this can make your absence much less stressful for them, with their familiar surroundings, favourite spots and daily routines all staying the same. I’m also happy to travel to nearby towns, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re a little further away!

Aimee cared for my dog Coco and treated her like she was her own! Coco was a bit sick at the time and needed some medication, Aimee took care of everything and kept me updated so that I felt at ease. I will definitely be using her every time I can going forward!
Aimee has shown herself to be reliable with an obvious love animals and they respond well to her. She has looked after our Labrador and our rabbit several times and they both love her, We feel very comfortable recommending Aimee as an enthusiastic and responsible pet minder, and a respectful and trustworthy housesitter.
We have used Aimee multiple times now to look after our Golden Retriever and French Bulldog and she has been absolutely amazing every time! From the moment they met her they trusted her immediately which gave us such peace of mind. She takes such wonderful care of them and it is always clear they are happy, comfortable and very well looked after while we are away. When we arrive home, they are both always so calm and content which really shows just how comfortable and happy they have been in Aimee’s care. We really appreciate the love, care and attention she gives them. We couldn’t recommend Aimee highly enough and will definitely continue using her in the future. Thank you so much, Aimee!

Schedule
I currently work as a server in Nelson and am available for pet sitting both during the week and on weekends. My shifts vary between mornings and evenings, but I’m never away from home for more than 6 hours at a time. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of care, attention and company while you’re away.
