Pet care experience

Special Place in My Heart For Dogs

I have grown up caring for many different types of dogs, from puppies to rescues. Most recently, I had the privilege of caring for a my favorite fella, a collie, until his final days as a senior at 16 years old. Since his passing I have not yet rescued another baby, but I spend time volunteering as a Level 2 Dog Companion at ACC. I have completed Fear Free Trainings with the Shelter as well as various other trainings that involve caring for, navigating, and managing more complicated dog behaviors that include leash reactivity, dog reactivity, fear and anxiety, shyness, among others.

We love Aimee! My dog, Ginny, is a border collie/german shepherd mix. She is very intelligent, high energy, and can be leash reactive. Aimee is calm, kind, and collected when walking Ginny. She was very receptive to Ginny's personality and they always have a great walk together. Aimee is very reliable and always on time. I would recommend her to any pet parent!

Safety, trust & environment

I do not have a yard and live in an apartment. I have taken the extra effort to provide toys, and a bed for visiting friends. I am attentive to potential hazards and take the extra effort to dog proof before a visitor. The few small plants that I have are pet safe, and I only use pet safe products in my home.

A typical day

I love to spend time with your dog, engaging both physically and mentally. We will play games and toys, go on sniffing walks, and investigate and play in the park near my apartment. We will also snuggle, if wanted, and watch some TV together.
