Pet care experience

Caring and responsible animal lover

I’ve always had dogs in the family since I was born and started helping with their care in my early teenage years. I am currently 33 years old and an online college student finishing my bachelor's degree in psychology. I currently have a very open schedule as well as a reliable vehicle, so I can easily accommodate your needs for your dog(s)/cat(s). I have worked with dogs professionally in the recent past including a dog daycare, a training/boarding facility, and dog sitting/dog walking with individual clients. I have prior knowledge regarding dog training and working with problem behaviors. I am willing to work with dogs of all temperaments, ages, and sizes. I am very gentle, caring, and patient when interacting with animals. I am able to handle physical activities well so if you have a playful puppy, I can definitely keep up! I currently have two dogs that I help care for daily, so I am very familiar with following specified schedules and always remain aware of the unique needs of any animal I work with. I am a responsible and diligent worker that you can trust to lovingly care for your dog(s)/cat(s).

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I would love to have a consultation with you where I meet your fur baby and discuss any specific requirements regarding your pet’s care, such as medications, eating and potty schedules, etc. Whenever a meet and greet just isn’t plausible, I will have you fill me in on how to correctly facilitate your pet’s typical routine along with any other important information I should be aware of. I will then go over any questions I have if they haven’t already been addressed and answered.

House Sitting • Nov 11, 2025

Aimee was amazing with Roxie! They had an immediate connection and really did become friends. Aimee kept in touch just enough to keep me updated on Roxie while I was away. I definitely plan to hire Aimee again when I go out of town.

Aimee Cash has been a very trustworthy dog sitter for us multiple times in the past. We turn to her first when we need someone to take care of our 2 large dogs. She is responsible and caring and my dogs love her! I feel at ease knowing she is with them and that they are well cared for. Aimee is flexible and is always willing to work with our schedule. Both of my dogs require medication which Aimee gives them without issue. She also keeps us updated by sending us text updates as well as pictures. The house is in perfect condition when we arrive home. I would recommend Aimee to care for anyone’s animals that are in need of a loving and caring pet sitter!

I would need to know of any medical history or medications the dog takes, any history with biting or aggression, how they do with other dogs, and any fears or difficulties, such as separation anxiety or being afraid of thunderstorms. If I will be house sitting, it’s important for me to know your expectations; for example, if I am able to leave your home (for an errand or something along those lines) and if so, the amount of time you’d be comfortable with me being away from your fur baby/babies (never anything too long but driving time must be considered). Knowing if or how long your dog(s)/cat(s)/etc. are able to be left alone is something pertinent for me in general and most likely will be dependent upon age, medication/potty/exercise schedules, temperament, health issues (both physical limitations and mental conditions such as anxiety), and the overall timing of the routine they are used to. I love to learn about dogs the same way I learn about people; it just isn’t always as straight forward since they can’t talk to you. That’s why it’s always best to talk in depth with the owner or do a meet up prior to any services.
