I am a female in my mid 20s that loves pets, particularly dogs. I have grown up around dogs, both rescued from shelter and pure bred puppies. For the last two years I have fostered dogs from RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Daschund Rescue UK and Yappy Ever After, Helping Yorkshire Poundies and Spaniel Aid charities. This means that I have conducted assessments and deemed suitable for fostering dogs that require specialist behavioural support, as well as those with extensive medical needs. I have fostered the below breeds: Belgian Malanois, Border Collie, Daschunds, German Shepherd, Saluki, Labrador, all types of Spaniel, Terriers, Beagle, Cane Corso and Bulldogs. I am confident and capable of administering medication to dogs, and take all of my dogs for long walks where appropriate. I can deliver to your dogs specific needs and offer extensive enrichment activities if required. I have experience in handling puppies, I have cared for puppies between a few weeks old and a few months old. I understand what needs an adolescent dog requires and have breed specific knowledge and the specialist tools required to ensure I provide an enjoyable experience🐶

Ailish is brilliant with my dogs and always asks to keep one of them every time she has them overnight! She’s very patient with them and understands their needs. I know she’s looked after various different breeds and sizes in the past. She’s good at identifying the needs of particular breeds that require longer walks/other mental stimulation to help them settle properly.

Schedule
I work in a highly vetted industry, and I work 90% of the time from home, meaning I am trusted and capable of caring for your dogs every needs. I can be available throughout weekdays, weekends, early mornings, lunch times and evenings. My schedule is very flexible, so please get in touch to arrange something!

Safety, trust & environment
Given my previous experience in fostering dogs, I have all the tools needed to ensure your dog is given a suitable environment! I live in a quiet home without children. Safety is highly important, and always a priority. I will ensure good habits are instilled upon puppies and senior dogs’ needs are also requested. I love taking dogs on long walks, particularly in woodlands and fields! I have local walks nearby suitable for dogs of all ages. My garden is fully secured with a designated area for any toileting needs.

A typical day
I will ensure your dog receives plenty of mental stimulation. I have multiple games, I can play with your dog, as well as puzzles, lick mats, snuffle mats etc. I will ensure all of your dogs needs are met. I have access to multiple walks nearby, so I can offer as much physical exercise as needed.
