Animal loving graduate student!
I grew up with both a dog and a cat. When I was 18, my parents got a new puppy and I was a primary caretaker of her until I moved out for grad school (I still see her a lot!) She is incredibly high energy and quite strong but being with her has given me a lot of skills to handle all kinds of dog personalities. For dogs that are more shy with new people, I make sure to not rush them and let them approach me (maybe using some treats as incentive!). No matter how long this process takes, I have always found this works much better in building a stronger sense of trust between me and the pet!

Due to my apartment size, I would be unable to keep a pet in my home. In my client’s home, it is completely dependent on what the client requests. In all cases, however, I will ensure that the pet(s) has plenty of water and food, gets enough mental stimulation and physical exercise, along with plenty of love!

I can’t say enough great things about Ailise! She helped me out last minute this weekend, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment we connected, she was responsive, kind, and genuinely caring with my dogs. It was such a relief knowing my pups was in great hands while I was away. Ailise went above and beyond with updates, photos, attention to detail, and making sure my dogs felt loved the whole time. You can truly tell she cares about animals and treat them like family. I came home to happy, relaxed dogs and I’m so grateful for the care and flexibility she provided on short notice.
