Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I have always been around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I currently work a part-time job, which allows me to be flexible with my schedule and available for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and overnight care when needed.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I try to keep their normal routine so they feel comfortable and less stressed. I make sure they are fed, have fresh water, get exercise, attention, and plenty of care. I can also give medications if needed and follow any special instructions from the owner. I also like to know what they enjoy or don’t like, so I can keep them comfortable and make them feel safe while their owner is away.
A typical day
I like to keep pets happy and comfortable by doing things like walks, playing with their toys, and spending time with them. If they enjoy it, I can also take them on car rides or go outside and run around with them. I’m an active person, so I’m happy to play and match their energy. For cats, I understand they all have different personalities, so I give them space if they are more shy or reserved, or I’ll hang out and play with them if they are more social and playful.
