In 2023 I received my bachelors degree in Animal Science Pre-Vet from Iowa State University, specializing in companion animals. I currently work at Ames Pet Resort as a Kennel Technician ensuring each of our furry friends receives quality care during daycare, boarding, or training!

With my hands on education at Iowa State University and my experience in shelters and boarding/daycare facilities, I am confident in handling varying behaviors in your pups. I am familiar with administering medications, providing special diets, and pet first aid. I am persistent in learning new methods to meet your pet's needs both before and during their time in my care.

Aileen is amazing! Do not hesitate to hire her. She is prompt, showed up on time for all the appointments . She is very knowledgeable about dogs and really took time to get to know my dog who tends to be anxious. Aileen brought dog treats, sat with her and made sure my dog was comfortable with her. She earned my dogs trust and allowed Aileen to put the leash on her. I will be hiring her again. We are very satisfied with her services.

We were very happy with Aileen’s care for our dogs while we were away! She was prompt and tended to their needs just as we asked. In addition, one of our dogs is very shy and nervous around new people, and Aileen was very patient and understanding and willing to work around our individual dogs’ needs. We will not hesitate to book with her in the future!
Aileen is so great with my very hyper dog, she is super accountable and accommodating. I highly recommend her, I will keep repeat booking her as long as she’ll have us !!

Schedule
Outside of the in-home care I do, I come home to my two Shih Tzus! 8 year old Penelope, and Poppy Lynn who is 3 years old.
