Safety is my #1 priority. I am pet CPR certified, which I think all pet owners should consider getting (it’s a $25 course y’all!). Especially those with larger breeds, which are more susceptible to heart attacks. Know the signs of heart attacks, dehydration, and heat exhaustion. Finally, I ask all my new dog-owners if there is any medical history, allergies, disabilities, or medication I need to be aware of before caring for that animal.

A typical day
Walking my dog has brought us closer together, and I always come prepared with water especially on hot days. My dog and I both need to stay hydrated! We also have fun together with the cats at home and I try to make it as positive as possible.
