I am a very patient individual when it comes to pets, and have no issue with taking the time to let your pet become accustomed to me if it has trust issues with new people. I believe in being respectful to all animals and letting them tell you how they'd like to engage.

It's very helpful to know if there are any issues, such as new people, other dogs, or health concerns. It's also great to know if they have any favorite treats, toys, or games, as well as if they have any neighborhood friends.
A typical day
I like to play to your pets' strengths, understanding that they're all different and capable of telling you what they'd like. That said, I enjoy taking them exploring on walks through the neighborhood and find things like runs through the park, tug of war, and fetch can be great ways to both release energy and encourage stimulation.

Pet care experience
The first two decades of my life were with up to four dogs at a time (and some cats), including my very own, a terrier. I am happy to say she lived her full 20 years right along with me. I love all animals as much as Hagrid and spending time with them is always the highlight of my day. I'm equally happy to spend time roughhousing as I am to stroll through the park, and I'm filled to the brim with patience. I have experience taking care of both puppies and senior dogs (including administering oral medication). I also volunteer at animal shelters and am comfortable working with pets with behavioral issues and cleaning up messes.
