My home is calm, cage-free, and welcoming. Pets are allowed on furniture and are never caged. I work from home, which means pets are not left alone or expected to fit into a busy schedule. This allows for presence, attentiveness, and responsiveness throughout the day.

In my home, pets are welcomed into a calm, cage-free space. They are not confined unnecessarily and are allowed on furniture. Because I work from home, pets are not left alone for long periods and receive consistent supervision, attention, and care throughout the day. The environment is kept clean, low-stress, and respectful of each animal’s routine and comfort level. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I bring respect and care to your space and pet. I take time to understand feeding schedules, medication needs, behavioral cues, and any fears or sensitivities.

Pet care experience
Animals have been part of my daily life for over 33 years. I’ve cared for cats, dogs, fish, rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Care is offered with patience, respect, and gentleness. Drop-in visits are available, as well as care in your home or in mine, depending on what best supports your pet’s comfort and routine. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, likes and dislikes, as well as any fears, sensitivities, or anxieties. Subtle changes in behavior, mood, appetite, and energy are noticed early, and care is adjusted as needed. I communicate clearly with pet parents, provide thoughtful updates, and care for every animal as if they were my own. I also share my home with my dog, Happy, a Cairn Terrier mix who is mellow, kind, and respectful of other animals, and who does especially well with pets that enjoy a calm companion.
