Agnetta can care for
Availability
I recently graduated from college and moved to Massachusetts so my schedule is completely available. I have my own sedan vehicle, so I can get around and take any animals to a park or veterinarian. I typically wake up at 8am and go to bed around 10pm, but I am adaptable to whatever your schedule is- I’ve even gotten up as early as 4am for feedings when necessary. I do not have a super active social life so I spend the MAJORITY of my stay at your house as long as I have wifi to do some computer work and a large table to complete puzzles.

Let me know about each animal’s personality so that I know how to adapt to their needs. Are they high energy and playful? Are they cuddly and like television? Do they prefer to play alone or with others? Are they afraid of loud noises or do they dislike certain treats? I try my best to make them feel comfortable and safe and not worry about missing their parents.
Information Agnetta K. would like to know about your pet
What types of toys does the dog like? Do they prefer to keep to themselves or do they like attention? Should I give them baked treats, ice chips, or nylabones? Do you want them to play with other dogs (such as my own/at a park)? Also as strange as it may seem please let me know their "potty words" (is it 'go pee' or 'tinkle time' etc)
A typical day
If I am staying in a neighborhood with little thru-traffic, I walk the dogs around on warm days. If it is an apartment with limited street access, I will only go outside for potty breaks and either go to the park or play indoors. If there is a backyard I give frequent potty breaks in between walks, and if your dog is the playful type I love to wrestle or play "hide and seek" or chase, and if they are calm I love to brush out their fur and cuddle on the couch while watching movies. If they like to be left alone, I can also occupy my own time with puzzles and computer work.

Pet care experience
*For health and safety of everyone involved I am booking one appointment per day. For new families, it is preferred to have introductions beforehand to make sure your animals are comfortable with me.* I am careful and respectful of your home, and spend most of my day keeping company with your animals and giving them lots of love. I've recently moved to Massachusetts, so I have very few commitments to distract my focus, and I give undivided attention to one family at a time. I've taken care of the family dogs since I was a little girl. My Grandfather was a dog trainer in the army and so when he retired he continued to teach pet owners on weekends and I was his apprentice for 7 years. Since I was born there was not a time I did not have at least one dog - many times even 3 large dogs at a time! I've also taken care of families with up to 5 large dogs for multiple weeks. I adopted 2 of my fur babies from the shelter I volunteered with in Georgia, then joined the first crew of foster homes when the program started at Oconee County Animal Shelter. I have experience handling dogs with behavioral issues and dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. In my profile photos you will see some dogs I fostered and some dogs I was sitting in Georgia. There is always fresh clean water available and I usually feed 9am and 9pm unless otherwise requested. My standard potty schedule is before breakfast, late morning, early afternoon, early evening, and before bed (just 3 times if it's raining all day). If I have a geriatric dog then I'll probably keep it down to morning and evening unless they signal me to go out, and with a puppy I'll usually opt for every 2 hours. Please let me know if your dog has any fears (loud noises, stairs, etc.) and if they have any special needs. I am available to administer medication if necessary. I am not afraid of animals, but I am very cautious when first introducing myself until they become comfortable with me. I love to bake my own dog treats with natural ingredients such as sweet potatoes, carrots, apple sauce, and oatmeal! However, I will not give someone else's dog anything that was not provided by the owner unless otherwise specified (due to various allergies and stomach issues dogs may have). I try my best to make it gluten free and full of nutrition if that is a concern for you. Let me know if furniture should be off-limits, or if I can cuddle on the couch and bed with pets. I will respect whatever the rules are in your home so as to meet their expectations.

Reviews

Agnetta is an absolute angel! She took amazing care of our dogs and home. Kind, sweet, responsible, calm, helpful and flexible! I feel 100% confident leaving my dogs and home with her. We feel so lucky to have found her!!

She was amazing! Couldn’t be happier that I found her! She’s now officially assigned as my go-to person when I travel. Thanks Agnetta!!’ 🥰🐕🐾

Agnetta is the best!!! She has stayed with our 12 year old 90 lbs Great Pyrenees mix (Chloe) twice now. She goes above and beyond! Chloe has health issues and does not get along well with other dogs. Agnetta takes amazing care of Chloe and makes sure she gets all her medications and supplements. She is also great at navigating Chloe with other dogs. She even leaves our apartment cleaner than we left it! Thank you Agnetta!!!
Agnetta stayed at our house and watched over our pup for 10 days while we traveled. She’s great at communication making sure that we felt comfortable while we were gone and sent sweet pictures daily. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned. We’ll definitely book again!
