I’m available for cat visits, medication administration, and overnight care on both weekdays and weekends. I genuinely love spending time with animals, so pet care easily fits into my daily routine

I like to know your pet’s daily routine, personality, and any medical or behavioral needs ahead of time. This includes feeding schedules, medications, mobility issues, anxiety triggers, and what helps them feel safe and comfortable. The more I know, the better I can provide personalized, low-stress care and keep your pet happy and healthy while you’re away
A typical day
A typical day with me is all about consistency and patience. I stick closely to each cat’s routine: fresh food and water, clean litter, and regular check-ins throughout the day. I love incorporating enrichment, especially lick mats with canned food, puzzle toys, and gentle play to keep cats mentally stimulated without overwhelming them. I’ve fostered many kittens and feral cats, so I’m very comfortable moving at a cat’s pace. I give them space, let them come to me when they’re ready, and build trust slowly. Once they feel safe, I’m happy to offer affection, but I always respect their boundaries and never force interaction. My goal is for every cat to feel calm, secure, and at home while you’re away.

Afya did a great job taking care of our two cats. One of them takes medication and we were also having issues with bullying and resource guarding so she had to be particular attentive. She worked hard at bonding with them and kept them busy with playing and enrichment. We came home to two very relaxed and happy kitties which has not always been the case with other sitters. Her experience fostering kittens at Paws and Claws that I saw on her Rover profile gave me confidence in her skills as they have a high standard of care for their cats. She’s a cat whisperer!
