One-on-One Care While You’re Away!
Hi, I’m Afton! I provide one-on-one care by accepting only one family’s pets at a time! I have a very quiet home, perfect for new guests! I have found that hosting one family’s pets at a time leaves me with more time to spoil and help your pets settle in! I love gaining new experience in pet care, I have watched newborn puppies, kittens, and even ducks! I have a senior pug, he has been with me since I started kindergarten! I absolutely adore senior dogs due to my experience with him, they hold a special place in my heart. My background also includes time at the Riverside Animal Shelter, where I trained dogs and made sure they were well-socialized, and ready to be adopted. Along with this, I have also volunteered at the Hidden Valley Nature Center! Mainly taking care of the animals and helping to maintain their habitats.

This is Chewies second time with Afton. We love her. She is just awesome and Chewy feels very comfortable and secure. We are very happy with Afton and will continue to ask specifically for her. Bumblebee came back to spend another day with Afton today and she was so happy when we pulled up at the house. She greeted Afton so enthusiastically and you could see that she was comfortable, relaxed and trusted her completely. I got lots of pics and updates all day, and you could see from the pics how relaxed and at home Bumblebee felt. We definitely plan to book with Afton again in the future!
Afton was so wonderful with our Bumblebee- she gave me lots of updates and sent pictures. In the pictures I could tell that Bumblebee was relaxed, happy, and well taken care of. We are so thankful we found Afton and will definitely book with her again, and would highly recommend her to take care of your precious fur baby 🐾
Afton has been such an amazing dog sitter! I really appreciate the time and care she gives Jameson while he’s with her.

Schedule
I am a college student, working towards a masters degree! Working for Rover allows me to go to school and also work from home! I always enjoy having a pet by my side, as I like to stay busy throughout the day. I take walks in the mornings and evenings, I would love for your pet to come with me!

My neighborhood is very hilly if dogs need to let out energy! Regular bathroom breaks and additional walks are always part of our routine to keep them active and content. My goal is to make sure each dog feels loved, safe, and well cared for. I will provide a lot of enrichment activities to keep them occupied, puzzle toys are always a favorite.

My neighborhood is hilly for dogs that need to burn energy. I provide regular bathroom breaks, extra walks, and enrichment activities, including puzzle toys, to keep dogs active, safe, and well cared for.
