I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—growing up with dogs, cats, and even three horses. Since college, I’ve raised two incredible dogs—a miniature Australian Shepherd and a Border Collie—who both lived to be 15. We currently have a sweet rescue cat named Luna and a little hamster named Ria. I also have a rosy boa named Licorice that is my class pet at school! Our beloved Border Collie, Rika, recently passed, and while we’re not quite ready for a new pup of our own, I’d love to spend time caring for other people’s furry family members. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also looked after the pets of friends and neighbors—including dogs, cats, and horses—while they were away. I have experience with everything from training energetic puppies to caring for senior pets who need medication and a little extra TLC. Walks, playtime, and snuggles were daily routines in our home, and I love helping animals feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their people are away. As a local teacher, I’ve undergone thorough background checks and pride myself on being responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. Caring for animals is second nature to me, and I look forward to giving your pet the same level of love and attention I’ve always given my own.
