I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years, and what started as helping friends and family turned into my own pet sitting business because I truly loved caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for pets with many different personalities, ages, and needs, and I’ve learned that every animal deserves care that is tailored specifically to them. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior pets, rescue animals, anxious pets, reactive dogs, and pets who need extra patience, medication, or support with their routines. Whether it’s helping a puppy continue their training, giving a senior pet a slower and gentler day, or helping a nervous pet feel comfortable in a new situation, I take the time to understand what each pet needs to feel safe and happy. What sets me apart is that I don’t believe pet sitting is just about feeding and walking—it’s about building trust and making sure your pet feels cared for while you’re away. I love getting to know their personality, their favourite activities, and the little things that make them feel comfortable, whether that’s a long walk, a game of fetch, enrichment activities, brushing, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby. I’m also an active and outdoorsy person, so I’m happy to keep energetic dogs entertained with walks, parks, and adventures. At the same time, I’m just as happy spending a quiet day with pets who prefer a slower pace and lots of companionship. I always prioritize communication with owners by providing regular photos and updates, following your pet’s routine closely, and making sure you feel confident that your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is to make every pet feel like they’re in a safe, loving home away from home.

I provide pet care in your home because I believe most pets feel happiest and safest in their familiar environment. Staying in their own space helps reduce stress and allows them to keep their normal routines, surrounded by their favourite toys, smells, and comforts. I also understand that housesitting comes with a lot of trust. I treat every home with the same respect I would want someone to show my own home. I’ll keep things clean and tidy, follow any house instructions, and communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can feel completely at ease. My goal is for your pet to feel like you never left; safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for in the place they know best.

Af was beyond exceptional. She was extremely kind and respectful while watching over my dog and staying at my place. She cared for him as instructed to the letter and I’d say went above and beyond in terms of being responsive, giving my dog the best love and affection possible while I was gone, and was very great about sending updates when reasonable just to let me know how things were going. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone and I’ll certainly be using her services again
Af was nice and had respectful communication with me throughout the stay. She kept our home clean and sent photos. But we did have some issues that I would want to share: For us, we chose to book a house sitter as oppose to check ins due to the needs of our cat Ella. She is 10 years old and very anxious when left alone for long periods especially in the evening. Our expectation with this stay was that Af would spend most of her time with Ella (more so in the evening), of course being able to leave in the day for shorter periods of time. I felt as though this wasn’t the case and that Ella was being left for longer periods than agreed on especially at night. One of the first days I had asked for an update around 8pm regarding the day. I received a reply saying she had been very busy and will send pictures later. This right away didn’t sit well with us. At 11pm she proceeded to send me a duplicate picture that she had sent me the day before. Then at 1230am a blurry photo of her was sent. This makes it seem that she has may have spent the day and most of the evening away from our home. Id like to also note that although Af did send photos through our time away, most were blurry flash photos of Ella in the dark with no lights turned on, and her walking away. Very few were of her as she normally is, comfortable or cuddling (which have been sent from previous cat sitters) One of the days we had previously agreed that she could go hiking as long as she was home to feed Ella by 6pm. I got an update of dark blurry flash photo at 845 saying she’s fed. A friend tried to drop off a package at 915pm as we assumed Af would be there. She was not. I proceeded to message her and she was at her bf house watching a movie. I found this disrespectful given she was away for 6-8 hours, decided to feed Ella then leave right away. She apologized which I really do appreciate and did take accountability. Overall, we spent about 400 on this weekend which is a lot of money and expect good care of her for that price. Af fed her and slept at our place which is good, but there didn’t seem to be that sense of true animal loving or care to make sure she is comfortable while family is away.
Af watched Bagheera from Aug 19-Sept 3 and on Aug 9-10 and I’m very happy with how it went! I was nervous because we have never left our kitty for this long with a sitter, this was also our first time using Rover but after having Af take care of Bagheera, I feel much better about it. I didn’t feel worried while Bagheera was in Af’s care because I got lots of photo updates and it seemed like she was very comfortable with Af which is a big deal. Normally Bagheera is unsure of people she has never met and will hide but she was comfortable right away and her routine stayed the same which I am very happy with!! I will definitely have Af take care of Bagheera in the future.
Af was great with my two kitties! They were very well taken care of while I was away. I highly recommend Af.
Nala was well taken care of, and daily updates were provided. I’d happily rebook!

Schedule
I’m currently a student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend a lot of time at home with the pets I’m caring for. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending my time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, playing, providing enrichment, or simply keeping them company at home. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to give pets lots of attention throughout the day and keep them close to their normal routine. I can accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication needs, and extra check-ins when needed.
