Pet care experience
I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA) with hands on experience in both clinical and shelter settings. In addition to my veterinary training, I have volunteered for two years with Friends of Rescue Animals, assisted at PetSmart, and have volunteered with Animal Allies of Texas for over 3 years. I have experience with feeding routines, monitoring behavior/health changes, cleaning, and helping animals feel comfortable. I am confident handling pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments. As a CVA, I’m trained to recognize signs of illness, stress, and discomfort, which allows me to provide attentive care.
