Pet care experience
Rescue advocate & dog lover
Hi, I’m Ady and I’d love to care for your furry friends! I have worked with rescue and foster dogs for the past six years, caring for a wide range of behavioral issues, medical problems and physical therapy, as well as severe separation anxiety. If your dog is shy or aggressive around new people, or a rescue who may need some extra support—I’m the pet sitter for you!

Ratings and reviews
It was our first time working with Ady and she was great to work with! She was flexible with our plans, communicated well, and took excellent care of our little pup! You can tell how much she loves dogs and we felt great leaving our 6 year old chihuahua in her care. We already have another pet sit booked!

Ady’s first time sitting for Cali left us knowing that we had found a gem. Cali took to her immediately, and we felt reassured that she was well taken care of! Thanks, Ady!

I’m so glad I found Ady to take care of my furry baby over the weekend! She gave me great peace of mind while I was traveling and sent lots of updates and pictures the whole time. It meant so much knowing my dog was happy and well cared for. I’d definitely trust her again and highly recommend her!

Ady was amazing! She took such good care of our puppy Darwin. She genuinely cared about him. She also kept the house very clean and was very communicative the entire week. I would highly recommend Ady.

I unreservedly recommend Ady as your next dog sitter or dog walker! She is responsible and conscientious and loves dogs with all of her heart. She regards them as family and treats them with generous affection, care, and thoughtfulness. Ady doesn’t just do the minimum, she goes over & above to make sure the dogs in her care have a wonderful experience, which includes having fun and feeling safe. You cannot go wrong with Ady.
Ady watched my four cats and two dogs for nearly three years while she was in college. She is dependable, trustworthy, and will treat your pets as if they are her own. Ady went out of her way to take my dogs on adventures while I was away, and she spent a lot of extra time with my one dog after my other dog died, which meant a lot to me. I highly recommend Ady!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I currently work in part time in Woodstock, so I will have plenty of time to look after your pets! I spend most of my free time studying for the LSAT these days. I do have reliable transport from Kingston to the surrounding area so I’m happy to make a bit of a drive to reach you. My partner is unfortunately allergic to furry friends, so I get my fill of dogs through pet-sitting as much as possible!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I approach each dog gently and slowly, attending to each dog’s unique personality and behavioral/medical requirements. I’d love the opportunity to make your dog feel comfortable while you’re away! My philosophy regarding anxiety in dogs is to mimic their regular routine as much as possible. So, whatever that may mean for your lifestyle and your dog, I’ll do what I can to ensure your dog feels safe. I am also happy to attend to any house-sitting duties (watering plants, taking in mail, etc) while I’m caring for your furry friend! I fostered a two-year-old rescue Catahoula & Pitbull mix this past Winter, with a routine of four walks a day and positive-reinforcement recall and leash training. If there’s anything specific you’d like me to work on with your dog, please let me know! Otherwise, I will make sure your dog is properly cared for and surrounded by a calming, loving companion.
A typical day
I have many treat puzzles on hand as well as tennis balls and fetch toys! If your dog needs more mental stimulation or playtime outside, please let me know! I’m happy to take your dogs out in the snow or on a moderate hike if that’s something your dog would enjoy. Bonus points if your dog is a cuddler or will sleep in bed with me :)
