Hi there! I’m Adrienne — an animal lover, horse rider, and long-time pet sitter who knows that pets aren’t just animals, they’re family. I’m currently opening up house-sitting requests for a limited time to meet new clients and lend a helping hand, especially during the busy holiday season. Before booking, please take a moment to read through my profile so we can make sure we’re a perfect fit. My schedule: I work full-time Monday through Thursday in the office, Fridays usually home. I teach riding lessons on Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM. Because of this, I’m the best fit for pets who are comfortable being home 8-9 hours without needing to go out. I absolutely love having dogs who want to snuggle up next to me at night. My house-sitting rate is $75 per night for one dog, with a discount for additional pets. I typically care for up to three dogs at a time, depending on size I have handle more. Most bookings are seven nights or fewer, but I’m happy to discuss longer stays if needed. My rates are non-negotiable, and I always require a meet-and-greet before confirming a booking. My husband often joins me for meet-and-greets—he’s also an animal lover and bonds with all dogs instantly. I pride myself on providing thoughtful, loving care for every pet I watch. Communication and transparency are important to me. I provide an intake form before each stay so I can understand your pet’s routine, quirks, preferences, and how often you’d like updates or photos. I also kindly ask that you let me know if there are any cameras inside your home during my stay. Clear communication helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident. Animals are a big part of my life! At home, I have my dog Dobby, two cats (Whisper, and Echo), and my horse, Dolce, who I love trail riding with around North Salem and Bedford. When I’m not working or teaching at the barn, I’m usually spending time outdoors, relaxing with my animals, or meeting new furry friends through Rover. I do my best to keep communication open and honest, and I truly love every pet I care for as if they were my own. If your pup or cat is comfortable being home for part of the day and loves a cozy nighttime companion, I’d love to meet you both. Thanks for taking the time to read through my profile—I can’t wait to meet your furry family!

I treat everyone’s pet as my own. I make sure they get the time and attention they want in the environment they feel most comfortable.

Information Adrienne R. would like to know about your pet

I need to know if your pet has never been watched by someone else before and is prone to biting. They need to be comfortable being home alone for at least 7-8 hours if needed. I need indoor all cameras disclosed to me before any services are conducted. What activities do they like? Any Favorite Toys? Favorite activites? Dog Parks? Can I take them for an adventure to the barn where I keep my horse? Do they like other Dogs? Dobby LOVES other dogs and is used as a tester dog for incoming new clients at Pawtastic. If your dog is dog friendly he would love to meet them! Can I take them to trails to walk/hike? Any treats/foods they cannot have? Any treats they love? What I need you to know: Please know what you’re looking to book before. Drop Ins: This is where I drop in for either 30 minutes or one hour to feed, walk and play with your dog/cat. Please choose the appropriate time length if you have more than one dog, you most likely will need an hour time slot each morning and night. Houses sitting: In this scenario, I stay overnight with your pets but I do not do housesit for pets that require constant care. I I have a regular corporate job that while it’s flexible, I do need to go into the office and out to the field on a daily basis. If your dog requires somebody home 24/7, I am probably not the best choice for you. Any pet that requires an extensive meal prep i.e. raw food for multiple pets is not my expertise and therefore I most likely will not accept such request. Preparing such meals makes it very difficult to do drop ins on a timely basis unless l client is paying for a 60 minute visit Please let me know ahead of time if there is any activity your dog loves so we can make sure they have the best time ever!!! If they are dog friendly, I can take them to our dog park which has great people and animals! I also have a super friendly dog and would love him to meet your pup as well.

A typical day

A typical day can consist of walks or hike in the woods (if the owner of ok with that). Sometimes, I will take them to the barn where they can meet horses and other friendly animals. I will bring toys and balls with me if needed to provide additional activities. At night, I love snuggling up with all pets on the couch/bed.

Pet care experience

I have over 10 years experience pet sitting for friends and family. Some of which were senior dogs and cats requiring special medication. I have no issue with them snuggling or sitting on me. It’s the best part. Some of the pets I watched included chickens and horses! I love all animals and wish I could have more of my own.
