I am a work-from-home artist and musician, so I am available to spend lots of time with your doggo! Having had a sweet doxie, I know how anxious some pups can be when left alone. I try to leave dogs alone at the house as seldom as possible.

I adore cuddling dogs, but I also understand that some are rescues who need time and space to feel comfortable with me. I try to always be mindful of every pet’s emotional needs and treat them with respect, no matter their temperament. Similarly, I try to be accommodating to each dog’s physical needs. Dogs who need more activity will be taken on lots of walks and games of fetch, as well as hikes on Mt Tabor (with your approval). I always follow owners’ feeding instructions to the tee and never give dogs human food save for the occasional piece of carrot or skinned apple (with your permission of course!).

Please let me know if your dog is upset by cats, children or anything else, and I will do my best to make sure they do not encounter them. And of course please let us know of dietary needs or feeding habits they’re accustomed to.
A typical day
Special places that my husband and I enjoy bringing dogs to are Mt Tabor, Franklin High School green, Brentwood Park, and of course walks around the neighborhood. We will never take them off-leash in public unless you would specifically like them to have off-leash time in a secured dog park!

Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs all of my life. I’ve had several friends tell me that I am the only person they trust to watch they beloved pups when they leave town. I am reliable with sticking to dogs’ special diets and other needs they might have. My husband and I love taking dogs on neighborhood walks and Mt Tabor hikes, and especially cuddling them on the couch! We have a securely fenced back yard, though we never leave dogs unattended in it - I am always outside with the dog while they potty, or out there playing fetch with them. We currently have a very sweet and playful 1-year-old toy poodle mix who LOVES people and dogs. My previous dogs were not crate trained, but you are welcome to bring your crate if that is what your pup is most comfortable in.

Adrienne was the best! It was our first time leaving our dog for more than 12 days. She sent updates with little clips all pieced together into one video which was so nice to see our dog in action and having so much fun. It gave me such peace of mind to see her so comfortable and to have settled in so fast. Our dog was clearly so well taken care of and taken care of like her own. She even washed our pup’s eye boogers out! She gets so many but I never expect anyone to clean them. Highly recommend Adrienne!!
