I work remote full-time so my schedule is extremely flexible. I live about 5 minute walk from a park (with an enclosed dog park) and typically go there on my lunch to get away from my computer. My work begins around 8am so I am happy to wake up early for morning walks, and I love getting outside as much as the day will allow me.

I love affectionate pets, but I’m also happy to host a pet who likes to keep to themselves. My apartment is relatively small, so smaller pets in my home would be best; however, I am more than happy to do overnight sitting at your home provided we have an intro meeting before. My work allows for a relatively flexible schedule so I can adjust based on your pets needs. The pets I currently watch are pretty low energy and like to sleep on my bed or in the living room while I’m working and we’ll go for 20 to 30 minute walks a few times throughout the workday. Sometimes I’ll bring them with me to run errands depending on their mood, so if that is something your animal likes I’m more than happy to bring them along.

Information Adrienne G. would like to know about your pet
I have a roommate who also grew up with pets in the home and is an animal lover. She has watched my sister‘s dog when I’ve been out of town, so she is very comfortable with pets in our home. If your pet has any special needs or requires medication, please let me know. If your pet is not potty trained, please let me know as well, so I can prepare my apartment with potty pads. I also keep poop bags and tennis balls in my apartment for all the pets who come over.
A typical day
Like every New Yorker, I love going on walks and being outside. I moved to the city fall of 2025 so there are many streets I still need to explore. If your dog is social and high energy, we can go to the dog park. If they like to keep to themselves we certainly can skip the park. My sister’s dog who I watch most frequently loves to be outside, but gets overwhelmed around other animals so we have a route in my neighborhood that caters to that. If your dog enjoys being around people and the weather provides, I’d happily take them with me while I run errands or get food on the weekends. If your pet is a cat, I’m more than happy to cater my schedule to be at home more often if that’s what they’re used to. I’m 26, no children, new to the city and a remote job so my schedule is as flexible as it will ever be.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with pets and pet sitting for friends and family. I'm not fully ready to adopt a pet full-time, but I would love to help others in the neighborhood take care of theirs! I have pet sat for dogs as small as Dachshunds and as big as Great Danes. I also have experience pet sitting for cats and kittens, and fostered a kitten a few years ago who my roommate ended up adopting. I love animals and I am fully remote so pet sitting or dog walking would be great to have some company! I dog sit quite often for my sister and her in-laws, whether it be for a two week vacation or just for the workday, I’m always happy to have a pet in the home. Rest assured, I would only take one pet sitting gig at a time, so you don’t need to worry about other animals being in the home. I’m happy to have an intro meeting before booking any pet care to make sure we are a good fit. 😊🐾🐈⬛

Reviews

Adrienne was hands down phenomenal. She made sure to always send updated photos throughout the stay and kept great communication. Thank you very much! Desi will see you again soon!

Adrienne was available for a last minute sit and was excellent with Oscar!! Took him on a walk, enjoyed lots of cuddles and sent plenty of pictures. Looking forward to seeing her again next time we're in Flatiron!
Adrienne is a responsible, loving, and thoughtful dog sitter. I have a dog and Adrienne has been supportive and a wonderful sitter since I adopted her. Adrienne does a great job with learning the dogs schedule and mannerisms to help with caring for the dog. She has even provided me suggestions and done research if she noticed my dog behaving not as she normally does. I would trust Adrienne with any pet of mine!
