I work as a full-time vet tech at MIT, so I am currently only able to house sit dogs or cats that can be alone during work hours (about 8 hours Monday through Friday). I can also do drop-in visits or dog walks after work, and I am fully available on weekends.

With dogs, there are two main things I would like to know: how they are with other dogs, and how they are in the car. I love to take the pups I care for on adventures, but our activities will be tailored around what the dog is comfortable with! Also, for any animal, I request the contact information of your current veterinarian, emergency hospital, and an emergency contact.
A typical day
In my free time, my two favorite activities are running & playing with animals- so I would say I'm your ideal dog walker! I love to hike and explore new places, both in nature and in the city. I try to stick to the dog/cat’s normal routine while also making our time together fun and enjoyable!

Hi! My name is Adrienne, and I am a graduate of the pre-veterinary program at UMass Amherst. I have over 8 years of experience as a veterinary technician. I spend many years working with cats, dogs, and small animals, and I'm currently working as a vet tech for research animals at MIT. I am extensively experienced with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, and personalities; I have been told many times I am a "cat whisperer" when it comes to grumpy cats and friendly cats alike. I am also very experienced with special-needs animals, administering any medications, and handling emergency situations, so I can be your go-to when it comes to care for your sick or special needs pet.
