Big Goofy Lap Dogs Wanted!
I've been a dog owner of Labradors for the past 30 years, until recently. A few months ago I said goodbye to my boy Fletcher, and life is just not the same without a dog. I am a fairly active 52 year old who lives alone, and quietly, with a fenced yard and Vickers Park nearby. I go to my family's camp in the summer, and would like to be able to take your dog with me for a good swim and hike! My house has always been a dog house. I do love to travel, so I know what it's like to have someone care for your dogs while away, and the worries and trust that go with such a responsibility. Someday I will get another dog, but until then, I would love to welcome yours into a safe, calm, environment, with lots of love, fun and outside time.

King absolutely loves his stays with Adrienne! He is always so sad to leave because they have such a good time together. Since Christmas is coming up, they played dress up with some Christmas wear and King would rather chew it then wear his Santa hat! It’s always an absolutely pleasure to have Adrienne watch my baby while I go away for work.
Amazing sitter! Was very good with both our dogs
King always has an amazing time with his human friend!! He almost never wants to leave when I pick him up because he has so much fun on his trip!
We are so glad we found Adrienne!! We have trips planned for this summer and we needed someone we could trust to leave our Lily-Lou with. We wanted someone who would keep her busy so she would forget we were gone and love her as much as we do! We were nervous to leave her with someone at first, but Adrienne was so welcoming right from the moment we messaged her. She let us all come months in advance for a meet and greet to ease the nerves. From when we met her, we knew she was a match for our Lily-Lou! Lily-Lou had her first stay with Adrienne this past long weekend. We received multiple updates all throughout the weekend with some hilarious photos! We were never worried - they had a blast together. Adrienne handled our stubborn and full of personality Lily-Lou with patience and love, and found humour in her craziness. They went on multiple “sniffaries!” 🤣 When we came home to Lily-Lou she was happy to see us, but we are sure that she is still wondering where her friend went and when she can get back to visit and play with Adrienne next! We came home to a happy and exhausted puppy, which is exactly what we were looking for. Adrienne is amazing and we would recommend her to anyone!!! 😀
Adrienne cared for Flicka for a trial day ahead of her upcoming stay, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and compassionate, showing a great understanding of Flicka’s needs as a senior dog. I also received lovely photos of Flicka throughout the day, which gave me peace of mind.
Adrienne did an amazing job looking after our dog! She had lots of attention and did plenty of activities. Echo was comfortable with Adrienne right from the start and was excited to be dropped off for her second stay at Adrienne’s. Adrienne made an effort to keep us informed with daily photos and updates. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Adrienne to anyone. We will definitely be rebooking with her. : )

Zeitplan
I am currently free and flexible to adapt to your dog's schedule. I am the only one in the house so I am able to be present for your dog and hang out with him or her as much as they'll let me!

I have a fully fenced yard and a dog friendly 2 bedroom bungalow. One room is a spare so can be used to put crates or beds if dogs are nervous or want alone time. I will never kick a dog off my bed if they are willing to keep me company!
Ein typischer Tag
I love to go on walks around the neighbourhood and for car rides out to Chippewa for a swim and a good hike. I also have a dog friendly family camp about an hour away with a great little lake to swim in. I can be as active or as mellow as your dog is comfortable with. I have enrichment toys and games for when the weather is not so great, and there is always time for naps!
