It is important for me to understand a pet’s temperament before visiting so I can understand how best to meet with and interact with them. I prefer to follow a written schedule of pet needs so I may consistently deliver great care. Additionally, if your pet has special care needs, it is important for me to see and understand your process in administering care to help maintain consistency for your pet.

Pet care experience
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a house full of animals. We had dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, turtles, geckos - oh my! I started pet-sitting professionally ten years ago, providing care for a friend’s foster cats, pet cats, and dogs while they were away. Through them I found many other word-of-mouth opportunities, where I began providing overnight services and picking up skills serving special needs animals - and later with my own pets - such as administering pill and liquid oral medication to dogs and cats, as well as injected medication such as insulin and nail clippings for cats. I have experience handling a variety of pet personalities. Need help maintaining consistent training for your dog while you’re away? I can help! Do you have couch potatoes who just need company? I do that too. From walks to sleepovers, whatever your pet’s needs, I’m sure I can provide them and you a great experience.

When we returned home after more than a week away, our dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly received plenty of attention and affection. We had recently planted some flowers that needed extra attention to get established, so that was especially appreciated. Adrian is absolutely wonderful! We have three pugs — our 17-year-old senior who needs help getting around, our 14-year-old special needs baby, and our energetic 4-year-old who can find trouble in the blink of an eye. Not the easiest crew to care for, but Adrian handled them all with so much love and patience. We came home to three happy, well-cared-for pups, and that means everything to us. When you have seniors with special needs, leaving them isn’t easy — but knowing Adrian was with them gave us complete peace of mind the entire time we were away. We couldn’t recommend Adrian more. If you’re looking for someone who will truly treat your pets like family, look no further!
