I do not have a pet in my home, so your pet will have my space to themselves. I live in a very pet friendly building, but I try to be mindful of the neighbors, so would appreciate a heads up if your pet is a talker :) I have an outdoor terrace in my unit where your pet can run around, as well as a circle with tons of greenery nearby.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or routines I should be aware of. Please only hypoallergenic or low shedding dogs for day care or overnight stays as I do get the sniffles. But happy to walk or visit any breed!
A typical day
I live pretty close to the national mall, so would love to go on sunset, walks and play some fetch! I also live near a senior home so there’s tons of sweet people ready to give pets and snuggles!

Pet care experience
I’ve been giving belly rubs, ear scratches, and treats out since the day I could walk. I’ve always had a dog in my home up until 2022 when my forever pup passed away this after spending 15 wonderful years together. I’m not ready for a new fur baby, but eager to give love to those around me! I have a big terrace where your pup can run around and take in a breath of the outside, as well as a large green area as I live right on one of DC’s circles. There’s tons of space in my apartment for your dog to walk around so you don’t have to worry about them being cramped. But if they get a little stir crazy, I’d love to go on walks and play dates to keep your little one active. Happy to accommodate pets that come in pairs or that have any special medication/food/etc. routines. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs as well as dogs with dementia. I’m very good about keeping up with the little things! :) Hoping to be a part of your pet’s extended family! :)
