♡ New Clients: Please ensure you are located within my service area radius. I do not drive and rely on public transportation to reach all bookings. ♡ ♡ Accessibility Notice: I’m unable to accept clients in walk-up buildings above the 2nd floor. Due to medical reasons, I require an elevator for any floors higher than that. ♡ ♡ Availability: I currently work full-time Monday–Friday from 9am–5pm (remote) and have an additional on-site retail position during random evenings and weekends. I receive that schedule every 3 weeks. Because of this, I can best accommodate once-a-day drop-in visits on weekdays, with some flexibility needed around timing ♡ ♡ Please Note: I am not accepting dog walks at this time — drop-in visits only. ♡

Safety, trust & environment

I use a warm, trauma-informed approach with all animals, grounded in positive reinforcement techniques. I’m Pet CPR and First Aid Certified and a Fear Free Certified Professional, ensuring that every interaction centers your pet’s emotional and physical well-being. I’m trained in defensive handling for aggressive or fearful dogs, as well as in working with feral cats who have little to no human socialization. My goal is always to prioritize safety and to move at a pace that respects each animal’s comfort level.

Information Adrianna R. would like to know about your pet

To ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy in my care, please share as much detail as possible about: 🐾 Your pet’s history and behavior — including routines, quirks, and comfort levels with new people. 💊 Any chronic conditions, medications, or mobility needs. 😺 Fear, stress, or anxiety triggers, both inside and outside of the home (e.g., other animals, strangers, loud noises). 🦴 Any bite history or reactivity, if applicable — no judgment, just safety for everyone! 🍖 Their favorite snacks, toys, and enrichment activities

A typical day

Pet care experience

I’m a full-time Foster Care Manager with a small organization dedicated to preserving the human–animal bond. I’m also in my final year of graduate school, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Social Work. Before my current role, I worked in the field of veterinary forensic sciences, assisting law enforcement with animal cruelty investigations throughout NYC. Altogether, I bring over 12 years of paid experience across veterinary clinics, doggy daycares, animal shelters, and dog walking. I’ve handled dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and have extensive knowledge of medical conditions, treatments, and medications. My background in animal behavior allows me to quickly recognize signs of stress, discomfort, or fear in both dogs and cats. I also love caring for exotic pets—I have the amount of years in hands-on experience with small mammals, reptiles, fish, and birds ♡ At home, I share my life with Pringlez, my 40 lb pit bull who lives with a disability from a prior traumatic brain injury. Before adopting her, I fostered numerous kittens and large dogs through both the ASPCA and NYCACC.

Adrianna was a big help in watching my kitties while I was away for 3 weeks. It was my first time booking Adrianna. I really appreciate her flexibility and patience working with me through some litter robot malfunctions and kitty indigestion. Thank you so so so much.

Adrianna was AMAZING. This was our first time away following a medical issue with one of our cats and Adrianna was incredible with taking our concerns seriously. She was calm, patient, and our cats love her!
