Pet care experience
Having been on Rover for some time, I am fully experienced and capable of providing the proper care, respect, and communication required for this work! Throughout my experience as a pet sitter, owner, and lover, I have always been (and enjoyed being) around pets of various sizes, personalities, and backgrounds. I volunteered for my local animal shelter for several years which has given me empathy to how animals feel and act, and I know how they should be treated, especially given an unfamiliar environment or with a new person – with respect and care.

She took care of my dog, Poppy, today, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She was incredibly caring, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the entire day. She sent me lots of updates, photos, and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind and showed how much she genuinely cared. It was clear that Poppy felt comfortable, happy, and well looked after the whole time. She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was safe, entertained, and loved.
