Remote Worker: Home All Day for Pet

What truly sets my home apart is that your pets get the entire place to themselves-no strangers, no unfamiliar animals, and no chaos. I only host one household at a time (whether that's one pet or a pair from the same family), and we don't have any pets of our own. It’s just me and my husband in our home, so your dog or cat will get 100% of our attention without the stress of sharing space. I absolutely love dogs, but because we travel, we aren't able to commit to having one full-time right now. Rover is the perfect fit-it lets us give all our love and attention to your pets while helping you out when you're away. Here is what your pet's stay with us looks like: A fully fenced yard: Plenty of safe, secure space for sniffing, playing, and stretching their legs whenever they want. Built-in full-time company: I work remotely from home, so your pet won't be sitting alone waiting for someone to come back. They’ll have a full-time coworker keeping them company, giving belly rubs, and letting them out throughout the day. Total peace of mind: I know how hard it is to leave your best friend. My husband and I make sure you get plenty of photo and video updates while you're away so you always know they're relaxed and happy. Safety First: The Meet & Greet I want you to feel completely confident leaving your family member with us. I require a Meet & Greet before any first booking so we can all meet, check out the space, and make sure it’s the perfect fit. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always our top priority!

Adriana was the perfect caregiver and house sitter! My dog got lots of attention, long walks, and days spent dozing in the yard. I would love to have her back for my next trip!

Adriana did a great job caring for our animals! We even had a 24 hour delay for our trip and she did not hesitate to extend her time watching them. I am so happy they were in good hands!

Adriana was quick to reply and available last minute! She did a great job communicating. We came home to the house exactly how we left it and 2 stress free doggies.

Schedule

Because I work from home full-time, my schedule naturally revolves around the pets in my care. Since we host only one household at a time, your pet becomes a seamless part of our daily home routine rather than just a quick check-in. Here is what a typical day looks like with us: Morning: We start the day with a morning walk and breakfast to burn off some early energy before I log on for work. Workday: While I’m at my desk, pets love to nap by my feet or cozy up nearby. We take regular breaks throughout the day for backyard playtime in our fully fenced yard, potty breaks, and belly rubs. Afternoon: A mid-day walk or enrichment session to keep their minds active and happy. Evening: After work, I usually head out for a yoga class (about two - 3 hours total), while my husband is often home or we coordinate so your pet is never left alone for long. The rest of the night is for relaxation-dinner, a late evening stroll or yard play, and plenty of couch cuddles before bed.

Safety, trust & environment

My husband and I treat every guest like family, ensuring they feel secure, comfortable, and loved from the moment they arrive. Here is how we care for your pet in our home: A Safe & Secure Environment: With a fully fenced yard, a pet-free house, and no outside animals coming in, your pet can freely explore and relax without any territorial stress. Maintaining Their Familiar Routine: We follow your exact instructions for feeding times, potty schedules, walks, and house rules so your pet stays in their normal rhythm. Comfort & Personal Space: Whether your dog loves cuddling on the couch or your cat prefers a quiet, cozy corner in our home office while I work, we adapt to whatever makes them feel most at ease. Constant Attentiveness: Because I work remotely and it’s just the two of us here, your pet gets continuous supervision, gentle interaction, and immediate attention whenever they need to go outside or play.

A typical day

Because I work remotely, your dog or cat will have constant companionship, and I love tailoring our day around whatever fun rituals they enjoy most at home. Here are some of the activities we like to do together: Plenty of walks: I love walking! If your dog is energetic and loves being out and about, we can do several walks throughout the day to explore the neighborhood and burn off energy. Yard time & play: Our fully fenced yard is perfect for games of fetch, sniffing around safely, or just lounging in the sun while I work nearby. Mental enrichment & cozy breaks: Between work tasks, I love taking quick play breaks—whether that's puzzle toys, gentle tug-of-war, or feather-wand play for cats. Relaxing & couch cuddles: After a good walk or play session, pets love to nap right by my desk or snuggle up with us on the couch while we unwind in the evening.

To make sure your pet has the absolute best stay in our home, it’s super helpful for me to know a few details in advance: Medical Needs: Does your pet have any allergies or take daily medications? Please share the dosage, schedule, and best way to administer them. Behavioral Quirks: How do they react to seeing other dogs or cats while out on walks? Do they have any specific triggers like thunder, fireworks, vacuum cleaners, or doorbells? Feeding Routine: What are their exact meal times, portion sizes, and diet details? Please let me know if they have a sensitive stomach or any restrictions on treats. Home Habits & Destruction: Are they crate trained, or do they prefer free roam? Are they allowed on the couch? (In our home, pets are more than welcome on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise!). Please also let me know if your pet has any destructive tendencies when left alone. While I work from home and supervise closely, if any property damage occurs during their stay, I do expect pet parents to cover the necessary repair costs. Separation Style: How do they handle it when you leave the house? Even though I work remotely and am home most of the day, it's helpful to know if they experience separation anxiety during my short errands or two-hour yoga classes.
