I’ve had dogs and cats growing up since I was an infant, and I’ve learned the responsibilities of pet care from an early age. Over the years, I’ve continued to help friends and family take care of their pets, whether it’s dog walking, house sitting, or pet sitting for extended periods of time (sometimes over a month). For the past several years, I’ve helped a friend with their rescue dog, taking care of her when they’re away for weekends or longer trips. I walk her, take her to the dog park, go on hikes, and sometimes to the beach. She’s used to sleeping on the bed, and I’m comfortable with that. I also take care of her feeding, grooming, and trips to the vet. I also have experience with cats, and I’ve cared for multiple cats over the years. I know how to give them medicine, take them to the vet, and provide them with the attention they need. I’m experienced with energetic dogs, shy ones, and those with specific needs, and I always ensure that they get the love and care they deserve. I’ve been using Rover on and off, and my availability changes based on my regular work schedule. I’m flexible with house-sitting, as I can plan my schedule around that, but for dog walking, I can only accommodate some walks around midday when my work allows.
