Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me.

We had Adriana house/dog sit for us over the weekend, and it was the perfect experience. Adriana was communicative, provided timely updates, and was able to provide our 3 dogs the care and company they needed. In addition, Adriana was very respectful of our house, and it was even cleaner than we left it! Would highly recommend Adriana as a trustworthy caretaker and we'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Adriana looks after my 9 month old German Shepard husky mix Noelle and my 3 year old English lab Choji, she is awesome with my pups and I wouldn’t want anyone else to watch them if she’s available, Adriana will always let me know if anything happens to my pups good or bad, my pups always will have a smile on there face when she shows up, I give her a 10/10 on the whole spectrum
Adriana has a gift with dogs. All dogs love her. She watches mine and walks them for me. She takes such great care of them. Chloe and Bentley adore her. If you are looking for someone to trust, she’s your person. She not only walks them, but teaches them tricks and looks after their health. She’s always sure to let me know if something is going on with one of them that might not be right. She truly cares and loves watching them. I 100% recommend her. You won’t be disappointed.

Schedule
I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease.

Safety, trust & environment
Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.
A typical day
Before any sort of activity, I would want to get to know your dog beforehand to learn what kind of environment he/she responds well to. But typically, I love to engage with the dogs I watch both physically and mentally. Some fun activities would include the dog park or the beach or a walk around the neighborhood. In addition, I like to play games such as fetch or tug-of-war in an enclosed area. And if your pet enjoys performing tricks for treats, I'll bring the peanut butter cookies. :)
