BACKGROUND ----------------- My life partner, Kyle, and I own a house on a 1.5 acre lot in the Holly, MI area. We each moved to Michigan after graduating from college in 2013 - he's from Omaha and I'm from Chicago. We own two large breed dogs -- 6 year old Husky (Kane) and 5 year old German Shepherd (Kiwi) -- who are obedient and know sit, down, stay, leave it, drop it, and come, and we added little Luna, a Pomeranian Husky mix, to the family in 2018 (she's still learning a lot of things). They love making new friends big or small! However, I will always schedule a Meet & Greet before booking to make sure our dogs are a good match for boarding at our home. QUALIFICATIONS ------------------- Kane and Kiwi have been in our family since they were puppies and we've developed the necessary level of patience needed with high energy, independent dogs. We are comfortable working with puppies that aren't fully house-broken or that may need some basic obedience training. I am a certified Veterinary Support Assistant which means I have basic first aid knowledge and handling skills. I am comfortable grooming and can administer special medications or diets if necessary. AVAILABILITY --------------- We are currently NOT boarding dogs in our home, but I am available for house sitting at your home as well as drop-ins. I am available most weekends including holidays and am currently working from home during the week. Otherwise, please visit my calendar to check for exact dates.
