Together we own Happy Pawz San Diego and have been in the business going on 10 years. We are home full time to provide top notch care for your pup(s). Our mission is to add additional pups to our extended family. We make sure we are the right fit for you along with your dog being the right fit for our regular play group. Your dogs really become apart of the family and gain and second home with lots of friends! Our number one priority is to provide a safe environment for all the dogs that come and go. (please see requirements below) We have a lot of close friends/family that are in the industry, which has in return allowed us to gain a lot of knowledge about animals in case of emergencies. We take time to understand dog behavior and take a lot of precaution introducing dogs when owners are present and when you leave. We like to make sure they enjoy their surroundings before introducing them with other animals and want the dogs to try to stay as low stressed as possible. Your dogs will have a blast, feel loved, be stress free, and won’t want to leave! When booking with us you have the comfort of knowing all dogs that come and go are on a flea/tick preventive, puppies have been dewormed, and all dogs are up to date on vaccines. On top of that we follow procedures starting with the outside surroundings and inside the home. We spray the outside yard to kill bad bacteria, fleas etc. We also deep clean the inside once a week and follow all cleanliness procedures. Book a stay with people that take your dog’s health seriously. We are also privately insured for ultimate coverage incase of emergencies. Requirements: We require all dogs to be up to date on the following vaccines: RABIES, DAPP (distemper/parvo), LEPTO (optional), & BORDETELLA (kennel cough). Intranasal Bordetella is our preferred and highly recommended method of vaccine as it covers 2 kennel cough organisms - Bordetella & parainfluenza. Oral Bordetella doesn't provide immunity to parainfluenza (which is just as likely to cause kennel cough); current on a flea and tick preventative; puppies need to be dewormed. We cannot accept any excessive barkers; this is out of our home and we need to keep our neighbors happy. Recommendations: For any stays over 3-4 days we highly recommend booking a daycare prior for your dog(s) to get to know us. A lot of health problems occur in anxious dogs if they are not comfortable. Letting them get to know us will make a dramatic difference on their mental state when booking an overnight! About our home: Our home has a fenced yard with multiple play areas. Our backyard is dedicated to the dogs! We have lots of toys, water toys, pools, and an agility ramp for the dogs to use. We have dedicated our spare bedroom for the dogs we watch! It is decked out with beds, blankets, and toys to make them as comfortable as possible! 😊

Adriana and Cameron run the best Doggy Day Care ever!!! My girl Rory had the best day and I already booked them for boarding her in 2 weeks when I'm gone on a trip. They sent me videos and pictures during her stay and I saw her playing with the other pups and frolicking in their yard. Communication and prep for her stay was awesome and they are very professional .. plus they are really nice people :) !!
Kept my pup safe and sound while we were out of town! Sent regular updates and followed some kind of weird feeding instructions to keep my dog healthy. My flight home got delayed and they were incredibly flexible with my changing schedule, which I really appreciated.
My dog had such a fun day and i was sent pictures and video their home was equipped with a doggys dream play area. Couldnt be happier with the service we received. Will absolutely use again
Highly recommend this rover! They sent me several videos and pics of my dog even with a short daycare stay. Their yard is perfect for the dogs and you can tell they care for your pet. Picked my dog up and feel good that he got some furry friend time and is ready for a good nap! Thank you !!

Schedule
We are home full time, and treat this as a life style. We are committed to the care of the pups we care for as if they are our own and provide full time attention and care.

Our backyard is dedicated to the pups we watch. We have a 6 foot fence surrounding the yard (more than half of it is brand new) and lattice in some areas for additional protection for the jumpers. We have turf in the entire backyard and spray it every night. We also have a fun doggy "tree platform" for them to relax on. Our seating is all metal and the table does not have glass incase we have dogs that jump on the table. (happens all the time lol) Other than the the backyard our house is doggy proof for any sneaky pups. Our trash and pantry has a lock. :)

Your dog's sleeping arrangement We have dedicated our spare bedroom for the dogs we watch! It’s decked out with beds, blankets, and toys to make them as comfortable as possible! Besides that the whole house is up for grabs. Wherever they get comfortable can be there spot for the night. Time I'll spend with your dog We are home full time, so we will be with your dog around the clock! We usually also let them tag along if we have to leave the house for something.

- We ask that you provide us with as much information about your dog(s) as possible. We want to get to know them as best we can in the short amount of time we have with them. Information about eating arrangements, sleeping arrangements, anything they show aggression towards, anything they chew up, if potty trained or not, crate trained etc. We want them to feel just as if they are at home with us and would prefer to keep them on any schedule you have in place (if you have one)! So please let us know what they need, we know every dog has its own personality.
