Adriana was amazing! From the interview stage thru meeting my dog to final pickup, Adriana was professional, kind and accommodating. She offered a great fenced property for my dog who loves the outside. She was a fabulous communicator letting me know during the stay that my dog settled in well and that they were playing together. I would definitely have Adriana pet sit for me again.

Adriana is wonderful! Gidget loves her, she is dependable, caring, and makes herself available. I would highly recommend her for your pets needs. She opens her home or will go to your home. I never have to worry when I leave my fur baby with her.

Adriana Has Been A Friend Of Mine For Over 15 Years. During This Time I Have Seen Her & Talked To Her About Our Animals. I Even Got A Cat From Her That Needed A Good Home. She Is Very Responsible, Trustworthy & Loving To All Animals. She Would Make A Great Caregiver To Any Animal.

All fur babies welcomed!

I’m an avid animal lover. They’ve been a part of my life since childhood. I've enjoyed volunteering at animal shelters and rescues over the years wherever I have previously resided. As a professional grant writer and researcher, I volunteered specifically for humane societies in my community (before relocating back to Texas). I keep my pets current on all vaccinations and annual exams. I believe in keeping a dog(s) alert and energized by ...

What Adriana would like to know about your dog

I currently have three cats.

I'm a responsible pet owner. My goal is to take care of your pet(s) as I would want mine to be cared for while I'm away on a business trip, short-term/long-term vacation or during an emergency.

Most of the people I know, especially close friends, have witnessed how I handle my pets with the utmost care, that I take them for walks, and have provided good and proper shelter. I have solid references who know that I am dependable and can offer a friendly and reliable service.

I have volunteered for animal shelters/rescues in the past and dedicated countless hours to this type of work.

When Adriana watches your pet

1. I schedule dog and/or cat sittings with enough time considering driving distance as a factor.

2. Discuss and leave specific instructions on how much food or water intake (since some dogs or cats are on special diets and can only be fed a certain amount of food or at certain times of the day/evening).

3. If your pet is older and requires meds or specialized food, I am willing to give it/them medication as long as I know that the dog or cat is not aggressive in nature when it comes to administering the medication/pills orally. I do not administer shots.

4. If your pet(s) requires exercise, I'll be happy to take them for walks throughout the day/weekend. Leave a leash close by at the home or bring one for each dog, if dropping off at my home.

5. I schedule Meets and Greets with all pet owners. No exceptions! It allows the pet owner and I to meet face-to-face and for interaction to occur with the dog or cat (or both) BEFORE the sitting begins. I'd like for the animal(s) to feel comfortable around me. It's a natural ice-breaker for both the owner and the sitter, and most importantly, the animal(s).

6. I give baths upon the owner’s request. I charge $10.00 for small and medium-sized dogs and $15.00 for large-sized dogs.

I want to make the pet-sitting experience as comfortable and natural for your pet(s) as possible and for the owner to know they can go away worry-free on a trip/vacation or emergency. I'd love to become your regular pet-sitter should you decide to utilize my services again. It's all about relationship-building and trust.

As long as the owner communicates the information I listed above on paper or discusses everything with me BEFORE we all agree to the services. It makes for a smooth pet-sitting experience, allows the owner to relax and have fun while they are away, makes it easy for the pet-sitter (me) to get acquainted with the surroundings and what's required to take place during the visits/work involved.
