I am a recent graduate of Carleton College with a double major in Biology and Chemistry. In the fall, I will be starting a PhD in Cancer Biology at UW-Madison. However, despite the scientific background, I worked as an Equine Veterinary Assistant for a year in college, and spent a summer gaining extensive exotic animal care experience from a full time Zookeeping position. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, from dogs and cats to farm animals and exotics. My diverse background enables me to provide compassionate, knowledgeable care for many different species, and I adapt quickly to new challenges and needs. With experience in the veterinary setting, I am particularly attentive to an animals’ health/behavior.
