I currently work 4 days at an animal shelter. I have Thursday-Saturday off. I would be available all day those three days, or available after 6pm Sunday-Wednesday if needed.

I have 3 cats in my home - all adopted from the Humane Society. They have their own room in my home where the door is open all day for them to come and go as needed. The door can be closed, if needed. We have a fenced yard for dogs. I have 3 children - ages 6, 8, and 12 who love to give gentle love to cats and love to run with dogs. My wife works from home and helps care for our pets.

A typical day
I am a very energetic person who would love to take your dog for a walk or to a local park, if they are allowed to. I can play games or can hang out and watch people if that’s what they need.

Pet care experience
As an employee at an animal shelter, I was trained to identify illnesses in animals; proper pet care and animal handling; and how to identify different behaviors. I have been a foster parent with a local Humane Society for 3 years as well. I have experience with all kinds of animals and believe all animals should be treated with kindness and care.
