I have the best fun taking dogs on outdoor adventures, whether it's exploring trails or enjoying sunny days at the beach. When I'm with your dog, rest assured that they'll have plenty of opportunities to play and release their zoomies! I dedicate quality time to engaging with each dog, ensuring they have a fun and energetic outlet. Pets will receive the attention, care, and exercise they need while in my care. I will be happy to be their friendly companion while you are away and ensure they are comfortable.
Information Adria L. would like to know about your pet
For dog sitting requests, I do encourage you to write down the full care details for your pet so there aren’t any missing care information. You can message this to me or write/print on paper. This includes your pet’s morning and night routines, food portions, medicine info, emergency and/or vet contacts. Questions I ask during a M&G includes history of biting/aggression, unusual behavior during walks and encountering other animals, off-limit areas in the house, location of misc supplies .
A typical day
If the dog is friendly and social, I will be happy to take them to dog parks or to the beach. Some dogs love car rides and others prefer to be crated. I have equipped my car with a dog-friendly seat cover, dog-friendly seat belt, pet water bottle, and poo bags for their comfort. Some dogs are food-motivated so I always have a bag of treats to redirect them from any distraction. For overnight stays, I mimic their usual routine to keep stress levels low while their family is away and avoid any big changes to their routine. Due to increasing incidents involving off-leash dogs during walks, I have started carrying a Sabre dog deterrent spray. This provides humane and effective protection from unwelcomed dogs entering our space and is approved for use by Health Canada.

The Ultimate Pawnty Experience
Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm Adria, and my love for dogs began at an early age while growing up in a household with over 10 shepherds. From purebred German Shepherds to lovable mixed breeds, I've had the pleasure of sharing my life with dogs of all sizes. * May 2025 update - Limited availability this summer. Please submit a request for the days you require pet care and i will get back to you same day. I previously worked alongside a large animal veterinarian and currently volunteer taking care of senior dogs. I come from a family of German Shepherd breeders, and to this day they are still my favourite dogs. All these experiences has equipped me with the skills to administer medications or fluids, ensuring your pets receive the necessary care when needed. I understand the unique needs and quirks of various breeds, and I'm committed to providing them with the utmost love and care. I am located in the heart of Downtown Victoria. I am available most weekends/holidays with notice. I am certified in Pet First Aid from Walks N Wags. I understand that pets are family and sometimes work, travel, or other commitments takes you places where you can’t bring them. I will be happy to take the stress away from you and offer dog walking and pet care. I will give your pets my attention and will ensure they are taken care of while you are away. I will send you daily photos or videos for updates as well.
