When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-&-greet. It’s always a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit for one another, which is important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your fur baby & your care expectations. No one knows your dog or cat better than YOU do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup or kitten tick. Finally, I just love meeting new dogs & cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends & I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time.

Some of the things I would like to know ahead of time: -What's your method of communication? -Would you like to schedule a Meet-&-Greet before the stay? -Does your fur baby have any health issues that need to be tended to? for instance, any medication they're taking, behavior triggers, or dietary restrictions? -Do you have a Vet nearby that you trust? -What do they do well around? what do they try to avoid? -Does your fur baby like to stick to a given schedule? like regular walks in the morning & evening? -Any favorable toy(s) they like to play with frequently? Overall, I would like to understand their needs and provide the best possible care by following the owner’s instructions and paying attention to each pet’s unique personality and behavior.
A typical day
As a very active person, I love taking long walks. Especially if your pup is very playful and loves to get exercise going, I’m also up for jogging if they need it. I'll gladly provide any requests your pup or kitten needs.

Pet care experience
While I may be just starting in the pet care field, I am incredibly passionate about providing the best possible care for animals. I am committed to learning as much as possible about their needs and behaviors, and seeking out opportunities to gain hands-on experience. Though I may not have a deep well of knowledge to draw from, I have spent countless hours researching the basics of pet care, including such things as proper nutrition, exercise, grooming, etc. I have also started by taking the first steps to adopt a cat of my own (Bombay breed) who is now almost 2 years old & learning to take care of a friend’s dog (Husky breed) for over 4 months, bi-weekly during the daytime. While knowledge is essential, it is equally important to have a deep love and respect for animals and a commitment to their well-being. I believe that through attentive care and compassionate attention, I can provide pets with the nurturing, stimulating environment they need to thrive. I am always eager to learn more about pet care, and I am excited about the opportunity to work with animals daily. With a strong work ethic, a passion for animals, and a willingness to learn, I am confident I can excel in this field and provide the best care possible for my animal charges.

Adolfo was great! He was able to help me out in a bind after my dog sitter cancelled on short notice. He proposed a meet and great and had a very calm demeanor and my pup immediately took to him. He had great communication and took great care of my high energy dog and I returned to a clean home. Highly recommend!
Adolfo is a great and trustworthy dog sitter! He takes great care of our dog, sends lots of videos and pictures, and also takes care of our apartment while we are gone. Highly recommend!
