I love animals! More than people? Yes. I started on Rover when I was in grad school looking to make some extra money, and just loved meeting so many new pet friends! I’ve stayed on here because I love doing it and I mostly work from home so my schedule can be quite flexible. I’d love to hang out with your pets! I love brushing pets too, so happy to help de-shed. I love dogs, and the only reason we haven’t gotten one yet is because our lease doesn’t allow it. My husband and I are complete overbearing cat parents, and now have 2 human babies too. I’m energetic, so can keep up with puppies and high-energy dogs and cats. Happy to run, play, cuddle, or respect their space and just deliver some good and potty breaks. Looking forward to meeting your precious fur babies!

Safety, trust & environment
We do have a fenced in yard at our house in Bayview, but my cats don’t love dogs that chase them, so I will visit a client’s home to walk their dog or care for their pets. Am fine with jogging if pet prefers a jog. If a dog ignores cats they are welcome at my house. Similarly, with a baby and a toddler many dogs might be stressed at my house due to the extra noise and tiny hands that aren’t great at gentle. I’d assume most dogs would not want to chill at our house.

It’s so nice to have peace of mind when I’m traveling that my cat is cared for!! I have a very affectionate cat that loves attention and I can absolutely trust that Adelle is going to give him all the love!!! Would highly recommend Adelle for taking care of your pets!!

Adelle was fantastic!! She took such great care of all of our boys and was very communicative with us during all the time she spent with them. She truly cares about animals and makes sure all their needs are meet. She is an amazing sitter!

Adelle is so patient and kind! My sweet girl Miley would refused to go on a walk but Adelle stayed with her and petted her. She really cares about the dogs’ wellbeing:)
Adelle is wonderful! She came by the day before a scheduled visit so I could show her my dogs’ dinner and potty break routine. She really listened to all of the info I shared with her, especially regarding my more “challenging” dog who will sometimes go belly up on walk attempts. The day Adelle fed and walked the dogs, everything went well. She texted me updates and shared photos. Most important my “tricky” dog was willing to go outside and have her potty break. I will definitely book with Adelle again!

Schedule
I typically work 8am-4pm Mon-Friday, but could do walking before work starts and after work ends. I am glad to help out on weekends and before/after work hours during the week. I have 2 babies at home, so on weekends I’m less flexible with drop in times due to caring for human children.

- If a pet is timid, doesn’t like to be petted in certain places or shouldn’t be approached from certain angles please let me know! I want to be respectful and make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and at ease with me. Will sit for as long as needed in the floor to let them get used to me and smell me and all that! I will NOT bring my human baby and toddler to your pets unless you are specifically requesting “exposure therapy” and want your pet exposed to tiny terrors! My kids have not yet learned gentle hands.
