I have a hybrid job, which allows me to work from home at least 2-3 days a week. As long as I have a bit of advance warning I am happy to accommodate your pet into my schedule in any way I can.

Safety, trust & environment
In regards to visiting other homes, I am incredibly flexible, and here to support you and your pets' individual needs. If staying overnight, you can expect to always come home to clean sheets and towels, and I will make sure to keep everything tidy while you are away. I never bring potential hazards into home such as gum or chocolate, and if you or your pet has specific allergies I am happy to cater to those as well.
Information Adeline G. would like to know about your pet
It's incredibly helpful to know what your routine is, as it helps dogs with separation anxiety if I keep to the same schedule. Any allergies or medical concerns are also important, as well as any triggers that might cause them stress (do they like car rides? do fireworks upset them? etc.) The more I know about your pet, the better prepared I can be should a situation occur.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on "smell walks" - the idea being that for dogs, scents are almost like books - so letting them sniff for as long as they want is almost like a spa treatment for them! I'm also a very outdoorsy person, and know a lot of great walks in the countryside that are perfect for high energy dogs. My motto for dog sitting is that the more activity they have, the less time they have to be anxious, and so I try to come up with an individual list of things we can do in the time we have together.

Pet care experience
Ever since I was a kid, I have been an animal lover. From riding horses since the age of three to raising ducks in my high school bathroom, I have experience caring for almost all types of critters: furry, feathered, or otherwise. I am an active member of both the International Herpetological Society and the National Mouse Club, as well as an aspiring aquascaper. I regularly look after animals who require unique attention, whether it be breed-specific concerns or special needs. If you have any questions feel free to pop me a message :)

Reviews

Adeline has been a fantastic sitter for our sensitive and reactive dog, and we very much plan to book her services again. She’s reliable and adaptable with a relaxed and friendly manner which quickly won our dog over. Adeline looked after our dog wonderfully - providing enrichment and lots of fun walks. Thank you!!

Adeline is brilliant at communicating and messaged me before and during the visit. She was flexible with timings and gave our dog lots of cuddles! Thank you Adeline 😊

Adeline was great putting us at ease leaving Bruno with a sitter overnight for the first time. He seemed very happy and kept us updated that he was fine while we were away. Would absolutely recommend
Adeline G. cancelled a booking 2 days before it was scheduled to begin.
