I love caring for pets in whatever way they need, whether that looks like letting a cat do its own thing or letting a dog sleep on my lap as I read a book. I understand it takes time to build trust with (a lot of) animals, and I enjoy and value that process.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs I should account for, as well as any peculiar behaviors. Knowing ahead of time if a dog is anxious is helpful too - and not a downside, since my baby growing up was very much that way!
A typical day
I try to cater to the needs of the specific animals I'm watching, since what they have to or want to do varies. Overall, I love going for walks, and when I have a dog with me on them, I try to make sure it's the dog's walk more than mine - even if that means we stop every few feet to sniff some bushes or have to go slowly to accommodate an older pup's pace. I also love to just snuggle on the couch!

I'm in the first year of my Masters at Emory, and I'd love to put my 10 years of pet sitting experience to use for you while I study! I grew up around large and medium sized dogs, from puppies to old ladies. I started dog sitting for my neighbors in high school and continued throughout college, during which time I walked and house sat for around 6 families in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. After that, I dog sat for several repeat clients while living at home for a year in South Carolina. Now, I would love to meet your dog or cat! I'm happy to play with, walk, sit, or otherwise take care of your pet of any age or size! I hope to meet you and your cutie soon!

Adele is such a sweetheart! My pup can be super anxious when I go out of town and often won’t eat because of nerves. Adele stayed at my place and made him super comfortable, got him to eat, take his meds, and tired him out with walks. She was easy to communicate with and sent great update pictures!
Adele was great, we needed a dogsitter to stay at our house while on vacation and watch two dogs. She was commutative, professional, and a delight.
We liked Adele the day she came to meet the pups. They liked her immediately as well. It seemed to be a perfect fit. She’d answer right away when we checked in and would then send a picture. We look forward to using her as often as she’s available.
